Polyborrel Haarlem

Welkom bij onze polyborrel in Haarlem, die plaatsvindt op de vierde vrijdag van elke maand! Onze lokale polycommunity blijft groeien, met enthousiaste deelnemers uit zowel Haarlem als daarbuiten. Of je nu een vertrouwd gezicht bent of helemaal nieuw, bij ons vind je direct aansluiting in dit diverse gezelschap. Samen creëren we een warme en inclusieve omgeving waarin iedereen zichzelf kan zijn.

Het enthousiasme groeit niet alleen tijdens onze maandelijkse polyborrels; we zien ook initiatieven ontstaan voor andere activiteiten gedurende de rest van de maand! Deze bijeenkomsten zorgen voor nog meer verbinding en plezier en dat juichen we met veel liefde toe.

Wat gaan we doen?

Deze borrel organiseren we om te kunnen kletsen met gelijkgestemden en om ervaringen/ideeën uit te wisselen.

We hebben een vaste dag in de maand geprikt, zodat het voor iedereen makkelijk in te passen is, zelfs als je op het laatste moment beslist. We hopen zo een lokaal netwerk van gelijkgestemden te creëren. De community moet een veilige ruimte bieden waar wij elkaar kunnen ontmoeten en contact kunnen houden buiten de kaders van onze mono-heteronormatieve maatschappij.

De avond wordt in een relaxte sfeer gehouden zonder een strak programma. De polyborrel is voor iedereen, jong of oud, die geïnteresseerd is in polyamorie, ethische non-monogamie (ENM) of gewoon nieuwsgierig is naar deze levensstijlen. We heten iedereen van harte welkom, ongeacht leeftijd, gender/sekse, seksuele geaardheid, etniciteit, of relatievorm (mits ENM voor jou een echte optie is). De voertaal is Nederlands, maar de meesten kunnen gemakkelijk overschakelen naar Engels.

Wie organiseert deze polyborrel?
Jasper, Monica, Daan en Zoë van PolyHaarlem zorgen voor de organisatie van dit feestje.

Wanneer vindt het plaats?
Elke vierde vrijdag van de maand.

Waar vindt het plaats?
In een café in de binnenstad van Haarlem. Je kunt ons aan het begin voor de bar of halverwege het café op de verhoging vinden. Vraag bij twijfel gerust aan het barpersoneel want zij kennen ons inmiddels. 
Uiterlijk een paar dagen voorafgaand aan de borrel ontvang je verdere details per e-mail. Laat alsjeblieft even via het aanmeldformulier weten met hoeveel mensen je denkt te komen, zodat we het café kunnen informeren.

Wat zijn de kosten?
Je betaalt natuurlijk zelf wat je aan de bar bestelt, verder zijn er geen kosten. Wij wijzen je erop dat je zelf verantwoordelijk bent voor het betalen van een eventuele rekening gedurende de avond. 
Hoe houden we de polyborrel prettig voor iedereen?

Wij vinden het belangrijk dat iedereen die de polyborrel bezoekt zich welkom en veilig voelt. Mocht je je om wat voor reden dan ook niet prettig voelen, stel dit dan gerust ter sprake bij ons. Dat mag 1 op 1 tijdens de borrel of daarna.

We gaan ervan uit dat je in je contact met anderen elkaars grenzen respecteert met passende omgangsvormen. We're thrilled to see how our local poly community continues to grow, with enthusiastic participants from both Haarlem and beyond. Whether you're a familiar face or entirely new, you'll instantly find connection with us in this diverse gathering. Together, we're building a warm and inclusive environment where everyone can be themselves.

The excitement isn't confined to just our monthly Polyborrels; we're also witnessing the emergence of initiatives for other activities throughout the rest of the month! What's on the agenda?

This gathering is organized for chatting with like-minded individuals and exchanging experiences/ideas. 
We've chosen a fixed day each month, making it easy for everyone to fit into their schedules, even for those who decide last minute. Our aim is to create a local network of like-minded individuals. The community should provide a safe space where we can meet and stay connected outside the confines of our mono-heteronormative society.

The evening will be held in a relaxed atmosphere without a strict program. The Polyborrel is for everyone, young or old, interested in polyamory, ethical non-monogamy (ENM), or simply curious about these lifestyles. We welcome everyone, regardless of age, gender/sex, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or relationship form (as long as ENM is a real option for you). The primary language is Dutch, but most can easily switch to English.

Who organizes this Polyborrel?
Jasper, Monica, Daan en Zoë from PolyHaarlem are responsible for organizing this event.

When does it take place?
Every fourth Friday of the month.

For those for whom concepts like ENM and polyamory are new or who are attending a polyborrel for the first time, we offer the opportunity to arrive earlier at 6:30 PM. This way, you can already get to know us and ask your questions in a more relaxed atmosphere.

Where does it take place?
In a café in the city center of Haarlem. You can find us either at the beginning in front of the bar or halfway through the café on the raised area. If in doubt, feel free to ask the bar staff as they are already familiar with us.

A few days before the event, you'll receive further details via email. Please let us know through the registration form how many people you plan to bring, so we can inform the café.

What are the costs?
You will, of course, pay for what you order at the bar; there are no other costs. We want to point out that you are responsible for settling any potential bill during the evening.
How do we ensure the Poly Gathering is enjoyable for everyone?
We believe it's important that everyone who attends the Poly Gathering feels welcome and safe. If for any reason you don't feel comfortable, please feel free to discuss it with us. You can do this one-on-one during the gathering or afterwards.

We assume that in your interactions with others, you respect each other's boundaries with appropriate behavior.
